Customer Service Assistant Required - Immediate Starts Available

**Job Role**: Gateline Assistant

**Location**:Bexhill Station (TN40 1EB)

**Pay rate**:£9.50 - 16.47 per hour

**Hours and Days**:Vary between Monday - Sunday.

**What does a Gateline Assistant do?**
- Ensuring the logbook is updated and used correctly
- Checking tickets
- Carrying out fingertip maintenance of the gates
- Ensuring the gates are in operation 100% of the time whilst you are on shift.
- All licenses must be on your person at all times and shown upon request
- To report persistent fare evasion to Eyewitness
- Being vigilant and visible to all customers and other members of staff
- Managing difficult situations
- Provide outstanding customer service: travel information, passenger assistance for purchasing tickets and updating information as and when required
- Making announcements on the handheld radio (if required)
- Carry out emergency procedures as locally specified on your induction

Essential Requirements
- You must hold valid ID to work in the UK and have a full national insurance number.
- You will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £9.50-£16.47 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
