Business Support Officer

The School Admissions service performs the statutory functions of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead relating to the allocation of school places.
We are looking for a temporary Admissions Appeals Coordinator to assist and prepare for the appeals season.
You will need to demonstrate experience in managing a large and diverse workload under pressure with highly refined interpersonal skills.
The role requires you to develop and maintain mutually productive relationships with colleagues, partners, agencies and families and will lead on the processing and preparation of formal admissions and school transport appeal hearings as necessary across the unit.
You will provide competent, organised and professional support while handling sensitive and confidential information.
The post holder will be able to prioritise their own workload and work to tight deadlines.
They will be expected to manage a large and diverse workload under pressure, and will be required to work flexibly to meet service needs.
The role requires excellent customer and communication skills with the ability to deal with confrontational situations in a high-pressure environment.
Rate: £16 Umbrella
