IPS - The UK’s Market Leading Co-Packer, working with some of the best known food brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions. Our comprehensive range of contract packing services have been developed and tailored in response to the requirements of our clients.

Our York site are now recruiting for a Planning Coordinator on a full time basis.

**Salary**:£26,000 - £30,000 Per annum

Working hours:06:00am
- 14:00pm - 14:00pm - 22:00pm rotational

**Job Description**:
The purpose of a Planning Coordinator is to organise the ordering and scheduling of material for short and long term in accordance with the plan, keeping stock levels on site in line with warehouse capacity

Key Duties of a Planning Coordinator**:

- To act as the primary contact for materials
- To co-ordinate the schedule of all materials to site
- Work closely with the Production Scheduler to ensure materials available for production
- Smooth planning of inbound stock and vehicles
- Utilise in house systems to convert customer demand, material orders and deliveries into purchase orders
- Ensure that scheduled deliveries dates are kept updated and accurate in both systems
- Liaise with our customer and suppliers regarding Non-Conforming deliveries
- Administer material data through IPS and Customer systems
- Escalate any materials issues to the Site Planning Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- A proven experience working in material Planning/Scheduling
- Proficient working with Microsoft packages (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Th ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner
- Ability to work on own and part of the team
- A proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines
- Able to work towards targets
