**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide an efficient and effective comprehensive administrative support to the team / service.
- Provide administrative support to meetings as requested and to ensure follow up action is completed. Producing notes of meetings, setting up meetings, preparing agendas, ensuring that a bring forward system of paperwork is maintained to ensure correspondence / information is available for meeting’s.
- Maintain diaries of the Wider Team
- Provide secretarial support to members of the team utilising a high level of IT skills to produce quality documentation to support the work of the team.
- Receive, log and respond to referrals for the Community Team. Be knowledgeable of the referral pathway in order to advice referrers and triage enquiries.

**The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.**

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Must be MS Office IT literate.
- Experience on an IP Ward is an advantage
- Able to prioritise work from a large Multidisciplinary Team
- Previous admin/NHS experience (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills

**This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years administration experience.**
