**GROUPS RESERVATIONS EXECUTIVE**

THE ROLE:
DUTIES:

- Main duties include executing groups reservations of hotel accommodation and various services and activities for groups travelling to Ireland and to the UK especially London, Scotland and Cornwall.
- Researching itinerary ideas and experiences, contracting suppliers and liaising daily with UK hotels, transportation companies, guides, restaurants and attractions.
- You will be negotiating the most competitive rates for our clients & dealing with cancellations, amendments, payments, deadlines and pro-forma invoices.
- Design graphic quotations and budgets for clients within company guidelines / sales initiatives & implement routine follow up
- Provide day to day excellent customer care to our clients and ensure client’s requests and follow up have been replied to in a professional and timely manner.
- To multi-task in all areas of the reservation administration / customer service function.
- Support other departments when needed and work with internal staff to help develop business.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a previous Inbound role leading group reservation (either for a UK Inbound Travel agency and/or tour operator only).
- A good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland and their best attractions, hotels and classic itineraries is very important.
- Must be fluent in English and Italian and/or Spanish both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of booking, negotiating and contracting coaches, restaurants, hotels and activities for groups.
- Must be Extremely organised/ Excellent negotiator/Able to work under pressure/Good telephone manner / Customer liaison skills/Attention to details/ Communication skills.
- Self-motivated and effectively communicate across departments in order to satisfy Client and Company’s needs

FURTHER NOTES:

- Office hours: Monday - Friday 09.30 to 18.00
- Travel abroad to trade fairs once or twice a year may be necessary.
- Full-time permanent
- Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
