**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Head Office Central Services Team and be part of a leading education charity where your work will have a real impact.
As an integral part of the Compliance Team, you will be involved in every aspect of the team’s offering including the delivery of training, monitoring compliance, and building relationships with key stakeholders at every level of the organisation. You will work and engage with our 54 academies as well as our Head Office departments to raise awareness of data protection across the Federation.

**MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
Reporting to the Federation’s Compliance and Data Protection Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with Head Office Compliance team activity, which aims to ensure the organisation operates in full compliance with legal regulations and government guidelines. Specific areas of responsibility will include:
- Coordinating the review of Federation Policies and key documents
- Quality assurance of policies
- Delivering termly academy Website Manager Training and one-to-one training to new website managers
- Coordination of a comprehensive suite of general compliance training to both Head Office and academies
- Assisting the Director of Risk and Compliance in the management of Federation risk
- Assisting in the management of Federation Freedom of Information (FOIs) requests
- Supporting the Director of Risk and Compliance in the compilation of the Main Trust Compliance Board report and other general compliance documentation
- Raising data protection awareness across the Federation
- Delivery, design and coordination of focused data protection awareness trainin.
- Managing data incidents
- Preparing targeted data protection communication to Data Champions
- Compilation of data protection impact assessments and data sharing agreements.
- Monitoring the completion and maintaining records of Federation ‘All Staff Data Protection Awareness Training’
- Assisting in the capture and reporting of data protection risks and mitigating action
- Assisting in data protection monitoring and reviews in academies
- Maintenance of data protection compliance records
- Assisting in answering general data protection and compliance related enquiries
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Ideally, qualifications to undergraduate degree level, but we will consider non-graduates with commensurate experience or qualifications
- Working knowledge of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and its practical implementation
- Previous experience in an education management, compliance, operations and/or data protection role
