Key Account and Sales Support

**Job Purpose**:
To retain and develop designated key aerospace accounts, with specific focus on providing support for developing those accounts. Working alongside internal and external colleagues, create and deploy SOPs, drive service levels and
support continuous improvement programmes. Meeting customer expectations through process optimisation and systems use within assigned areas, to ensure comprehensive management reports are in place. Undertake a variety
of job duties to make sure all customer and commercial activities are followed up and delivered. Demonstrate ability to communicate new plans and ideas to internal colleagues and customers.
**Key responsibilities**:
- To generate further business opportunities from existing customers.
- To work closely with the wider client Aerospace network to develop joint accounts.
- Supporting quotes and Tenders by working closely with both tender desk and rate enquiry teams.
- Hold regular review meetings to discuss performance trends and pass on corporate and local initiatives.
- Ensure reporting and KPI are delivered in due time and to a high quality.
- Generate and process new sales leads.
- Take calls from customers and deal with opportunities or problems as they arise.
- Provides any necessary market intelligence, insight or reports.
- Arranging appointments with clients.
- Working closely with Account Management colleagues in pursuit and creation of new customer proposals and engagements.
- Update CRM and TMS where appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Should have experience within supply chain or a logistics field, ideally within Aerospace.
- Should have a strong proficiency in customer service or account management.
- Have a service minded personality.
- Good knowledge of continuous improvement methods and practices.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be well organised and structured in how work is completed.
- Be self motivated with an entrepreneurship mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure in an organised and effective manor.
- Have proficient presentation and communication skills (English is a must, another language an asset).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £39,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
