Accounts Administrator

**The role**
To further support our growth and development, we’re looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our innovative team based in Edinburgh.
**Who We are**
**Responsibilities**
- Issue sales order confirmations, POs, invoices and manage payments
- Create payment schedules of suppliers and customers
- Prepare monthly financial reports, performing account reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies & maintaining ledgers including audit trail support for all entries
- Issue invoices based on agreed terms and resolve invoice queries
- Complete HMRC filings and returns
- Daily maintenance of our finance system
- Oversee the purchase ledger functions
- Provide daily cashflow management/planning/forecasting and bank accounts maintenance
- Manage negotiations with current and potential suppliers
- Coordinate the stock control function
**Requirements**:
- A proven track record in financial administration
- Highly proficient in data entry, Excel, with experience in Sage desirable
- Ability to work to tight schedules and manage multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Result-focused, metric-driven with a commitment to tasks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
