**Finance and Accounts Administrator - EDINBURGH**
**OVERVIEW**
Our client is an growing organisation within the Training sector - they develop qualfications and facilitate End Point Apprenticeship Assessments across the UK.
They currently have an opportunity for a Finance and Accounts Administrator to join their team, based from their Edinburgh office.
**THE ROLE**
- Processing bookkeeping on Xero
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing
- Providing information for payroll
- Collecting invoices for BAC’s
- Processing monthly expense claims and mileage claims
- Chasing debtors for late payments
- Review and update of company accounts processes and procedures
- Sending weekly debtors report
- Ad-hoc reporting according to management requirements
- Maintaing accounts database and files
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or an accounts assistant/admin role is preferred.
- Experience of using accounting software. Xero is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent Excel and IT skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Very good time management, able to prioritise and perform to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Efficient communicator to management and a good team player.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- This is a Permaent, Full Time role (Mon - Fri) based in central Edinburgh.
- Starting salary is up to approx £25k, with opportunities to progress and develop within an expanding organisation.
