**Job Details**:
Under the leadership of Dr Sunil Iyengar and Dr Dima El-Sharkawi, we are seeking to appoint a Scientific Officer to join the lymphoma biology and imaging team. The team's focus is on better understanding the biology and imaging of lymphoid neoplasms with the goal of improving diagnosis and tailoring management. We have a large sample collection of rare leukaemias and lymphomas collected over several years related to the expertise in these diseases provided over the last several years by Prof Catovsky, Dr Estella Matutes and Dr Claire Dearden. Prospective collections of samples have been established in addition within prospective tissue studies. These samples have linked clinical and in relevant cases, radiological parameters. This data provides the basis for translational outputs and external collaborations. The post holder will be responsible for the processing and cataloguing these samples, maintaining databases in collaboration with a clinical fellow and the translational team at the Centre for Molecular Pathology.
