**Job Details**:
Under the leadership of Louis Chesler, we are seeking to appoint a Scientific Officer to join the Paediatric Solid Tumour and Biology Therapeutics Team / Paediatric Oncology Experiment Medicine (POEM) Centre / Clinical Studies.

The team identify and study the molecular changes underlying the development of childhood cancers and targeting them with innovative new treatment.

The objective of this Scientific Officer position is to develop and identify effective inhibitors for the oncogenes MYCN and ALK in neuroblastoma. The postholder will test novel inhibitors
_in vitro_ and
_in vivo_). The post holder will work alongside the Senior and Higher Scientific Officer who oversees the MYCN project portfolio. The postholder will be expected to provide a robust and reactive technical support service to in vitro and
_in vivo_ activities of the team.
