Legacy Relationship Executive

**Salary**: From £25,650 per annum, depending on experience + good range of benefits

Contract: Permanent, full time (36.5 hours per week with one evening per week)

Based: Milton Keynes

We are looking for an outstanding relationship executive who will

initiate, develop and sustain relationships with current supporters, growing their engagement with WV through give, act and pray and getting them on to the legacy pathway as an enquirer.

Nurture them and to increase retention and progress them to becoming a pledger. Through the relationship building provide leads for major donors, child sponsorship and churches.

Therefore the post holder must be of a Christian faith as you will be expected to offer spiritual nurturing and prayers if requested by the sponsor.

This role has been created to engage with World Vision supporters on the telephone following the mailing campaigns and events to encourage the consideration of leaving a gift in their will, supporting the growth of World Vision’s legacy income. The individual must be able to work with mínimal supervision and make their own decisions.

Manage the data from the various campaigns to ensure you reach each area of the target. Have excellent questioning skills which will ensure you can discover more about the giving behaviours of the supporter to build stronger long-term relationships identify and trends and passions and take them on a journey with World Vision.

Be externally focused, engage the supporters with our cause, building trust in World Vision and develop mutually beneficial relationships Meet or exceed annual fund-raising goals through the cultivation of relationships Develop long term relationships through personal interaction with donors shaping their interest in leaving a gift in their will as well as WV mission and connecting donors interests with other areas of our work.

To follow up a series of legacy mailings and events with telephone calls, to build deeper relationships, talk about the benefits of leaving a gift in their Will, gain their interest and encourage them to want a legacy brochure, securing further legacy pledges for World Vison.

As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
