A very good telephone manner is essential as a large part of the role will be speaking to patients over the phone as well as face to face.

Being able to signpost patients to the correct clinician or service for their medical needs.

Showing an empathic, professional, kind and caring manner to all patients and visitors to the Practice.

Ensuring the highest regard for confidentiality at all times.

Liaising and supporting the GPs, Nursing Team and other Departments to ensure patients get the best outcome at each contact with the Practice.

Communicating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams outside of the Practice.

Supporting other members of the Reception Team and working together to ensure all administration tasks are dealt with in a timely manner.

Being aware of the importance of open and honest communication with patients and members of the Practice Team and considering equality and diversity within both.

Making each patient feel listened to and that their issue is important, remembering that a Patient Advisor is the first point of contact with the Practice.

Willing to be flexible and take on new challenges when required. Staying calm under pressure.

Education - 5 GSCEs of grade C or above to include Maths and English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
