**Job Purpose**
Working within the HR Team, the role is responsible for the co-ordination of mandatory and other training and development across College, including administration and record-keeping. This involves all aspects of staff training day events, online learning and individual learning and development requests. The role also supports wellbeing activities, organised as part of staff training days and/or at other times. The Training Administrator will work closely with the HR Manager, HR Team and in liaison with College Management Team, line managers and external providers. Queen Alexandra College (QAC) is a national residential College and registered charity that supports a diverse range of student/client abilities and needs. Our College provides education, training, routes to independent living and employment through an innovative, holistic approach to learning and support.

We have educational and learning sites based in Birmingham, one of Europe’s most welcoming and vibrant cities, with a rich and diverse culture. Our main site is based in Harborne, a pleasant leafy Birmingham suburb, on a friendly and green acre campus with excellent facilities and resources.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Assign e-learning and manage attendance and completion reports, ensuring mandatory training is completed in a timely manner.
- Perform accurate data entry to maintain records in electronic systems and databases.
- Collate information from the College Management Team and liaise with relevant managers to identify training and development needs for the year ahead, as a basis for an annual training plan.
- Update and manage the training calendar
- Coordinate training events including room/equipment/payment arrangements following relevant College processes and in liaison with relevant managers/departments (IT/Finance/Health & Safety/Estates etc).
- Be the point of contact for internal and external colleagues for managing any logístical matters during training days.
- Ensure all training requests are responded to and booked where applicable, including individual learning requests, reinforcing the message in respect of the process.
- Prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.
- Suggest improvements or new programmes that could better meet our training requirements.
- Support the HR Team with college Health and Wellbeing initiative were applicable.
- Develop and maintain the process for evaluation of training, to measure effectiveness and impact of training and to monitor effectiveness of delivery and return on investment.
- Tracking the training needs of staff identified through probationary reviews and appraisals; making recommendations for training events.

**General**
- Work with the Director of HR/HR Manager and the team to implement projects/ initiatives to improve our service.
- Take turns with administrator roles across the college to support Reception Staff during break and lunch covers.
- Adhere to the College’s Health and Safety Policy at all times, recognising responsibility for own safety and that of others.
- Act at all times in accordance with the Staff Code of Conduct and QAC Values of Respect, Excellence, Enabling, Collaboration and Inclusion.
- Comply with all College policies and procedures.
- Maintain CPD and undertake appropriate training and development as required, including any mandatory and/or refresher training required for the role.
- To undertake other duties as commensurate with the role and in agreement with the Director of HR.
