JOB OPPORTUNITY - FOREST SCHOOL PRACTITIONER
Due to demand and expansion of our services we are looking for fellow woodland warriors, nature lovers, forest protectors,.mud monster champions
We are currently recruiting an additional member of our team to assist with the running of forest school Sessions for children within the Lancashire & Greater Manchester area.
The role will include providing stimulating and fun outdoor learning experiences for a wide age range of children. We offer forest frontiers sessions privately to families and children, to nurseries and educational settings, and our half-term forest camp to primary school-aged children. The learning experiencing should support the delivery of an engaging outdoor curriculum to help children develop their self-esteem, confidence, independence, and responsibility through hands-on experiences in a natural environment.
Forest Frontiers is a community interest Forest School. We have access to a range of beautiful woodland sites across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
You must LOVE the outdoors
Ideally you will be a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner looking to be involved in all aspects of running a Forest School for the community and in our OOSC.
Competitive salary (dependent on qualifications and experience) and above National Living Wage.
Ideally, we would want someone who could start on an ad hoc basic with a view to progressing to Full time.

Lead adventure walks past a the gruffalo a hideout, through the river rapids and down a slippery mud slide
Enjoy singing to the birds, hugging trees, and making gifts for woodland wildlife
Love reading stories and bringing them to life
Making an excellent s’more is a bonus
Will be willing to undertake a full DBS check by disclosure services, and be on the update service.
Have a full driving license and be willing to travel to various sites

**Salary**: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 37 per week
