A Chorley-based primary school is seeking a qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to cover a part-time maternity leave in Year 4. The successful candidate will be employed through Teaching Personnel, the UK's largest staffing agency.

Job Overview

The role is full-time and temporary, with the option to become permanent at a later date. The ideal candidate will have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and possess excellent classroom leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach and support students in Year 4, providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • To assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted strategies for support.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and resources.
Requirements

The successful candidate will require:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Two positive references from previous employers.
  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
