We are currently looking for a Senior Carer at Quarry House in Fishponds.

**Responsibilities and duties for the Senior Carer role are**:

- Delivering high quality personal care to our residents
- Organising and encouraging the care team under the leadership of the duty nurse.
- Setting the standards of care to be delivered in the home.
- Ensuring that every individual within the home has a personalised and meaningful experience of life.
- Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff - we will provide additional training for senior carer competencies such as medication management, wound care, clinical observations and many more.
- Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs

**Requirements for the Senior carer role**:

- We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants or motivated and enthusiastic individuals with strong experience in care ready to take the next step into a senior carer position.
- You must have medication training
- ** You will need a level 3 adult social care qualification, or a level 2 adult social care qualification with care experience and a willingness to complete the level 3 course.**

**PAY**:
As an employee (Age 21 years +) you will earn
- Basic pay of £13.00
- 10% additional pay at weekends
- 50% extra pay on Bank holidays.
