**Job Opportunity: Contracts Administrator - Join the Specialist Railway Sector**

Our client, a leading Train Operating organisation, is seeking a Contracts Administrator with demonstrable legal experience to join their dynamic Procurement Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise within the specialist Railway sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Use your in-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions to review, amend, and draft contract clauses on behalf of the procurement team.
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date contracts database, ensuring accurate and accessible information for seamless operations.
- Stay abreast of legislation changes and proactively implement any required modifications to the standard suite of contracts.
- Demonstrate your analytical prowess by running relevant reports to meet the procurement team's business plan and commitments to the DfT under a National Rail Contract.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Managers on strategic procurement projects, providing valuable support and contributing to their success.
- Showcase your expertise in managing the supplier review process, including conducting due diligence such as credit reports and accreditations.
- Take ownership of and implement a comprehensive supplier risk matrix, capturing spend and contract renewals to effectively mitigate potential risks.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Possess a strong background in contract management, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
- Experience in maintaining contracts databases and effectively managing contract documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and the ability to adapt to changes in the regulatory landscape.
- Excellent report generation skills and the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
- Strong project management abilities and the flexibility to support strategic procurement initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting supplier reviews and due diligence, ensuring compliance and minimising risk.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively.
