**Head of Facilities & Estates**

**Location**:Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Surrey, KT9 2NE
**Hours**: Full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the business

We're currently looking for a Head of Facilities & Estates to join our Technical Services team at Britain’s Wildest Adventure

**About the Role**

Working in a fast-paced and guest-facing business, Technical Services is a dynamic team responsible for all elements of maintenance across the resort to ensure the park is operating safely and effectively at all times.

As Head of Facilities & Estates you are responsible for overseeing the resort facilities and infrastructure. You will ensure all repairs and upgrades are conducted safely and effectively by your facilities, creative, landscapes, waste management and recycling teams, who provide preventative and corrective maintenance, cleanliness and theming across our Hotels and Park.

Our team members are enthusiastic and motivated to deliver and improve the service we provide, while having a sense of fun and community that comes from working with Merlin Entertainments and Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong, effective leadership combined with proven managerial skills
- Experience of managing multidisciplined teams
- Qualified by experience or degree or both in Facilities Management
- Experience and knowledge of planned preventative maintenance within the Facilities and maintenance field
- Organisation, time management, prioritising, and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
- Exhibit an appreciation of the role our department performs in providing our guests with a safe and enjoyable visit
- A reliable, flexible, and sociable person as you will be part of a busy team
