Nottingham, United Kingdom Experian Full time

Full-time

Employee Status: Regular

Role Type: Hybrid

Department: Marketing and Communications

Schedule: Full Time

**Company Description**:
**Discover the Unexpected**

Experian is the world’s leading global information services company. We’re passionate about unlocking the power of data in order to transform lives and create opportunities for consumers, businesses and society. For more than 125 years, we’ve helped economies and communities flourish - and we’re not done.

Our 21k amazing employees in 40+ countries believe the possibilities for you, and the world, are growing. We’re investing in the future, through new technologies, talented people and innovation so we can help create a better tomorrow. To do this we employ the brightest minds that share our purpose and want to make a difference.

(Grade: EB9 / E)

Events management is an exciting, fast-paced function requiring strong organisation, communication and team working skills to run successful events and promote Experian’s brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Experian’s UK&I Events team of 5 people.

You will have full responsibility for a portfolio of small to medium events and for assisting the Events Managers on specific tasks.

Working with the Events Team, you’ll provide assistance to the Event Managers with personal responsibility for specific roles as well as overall pre-event, onsite and post-event support.

Working with Event sponsors and senior stakeholders, you will lead the full process from project planning through to results delivery and evaluation on a number of small to medium events - internal and external for the UK&I region and other regions on occasion - making recommendations for constant improvement.

**Qualifications**:
You are a highly driven and engaging individual, comfortable working with people in multi-functional teams, at all levels and on multiple projects within a matrix structure and with numerous stakeholders.

Confident with a high degree of self-motivation, energy and initiative, you will have shown tenacity in driving results whilst retaining objectivity and clarity of independent thinking skills to solve problems.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, as well as good project management skills and the ability to pick up on systems quickly.

Events management is an exciting and fast-paced career path, so being highly organised, detail oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask different priorities is important.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Whilst we have adopted a hybrid way of working, this role is based in Nottingham and requires the successful applicant to work in the office 1-2 days weekly (however this could increase to 3 days in the lead up to a large event). Due to the nature of the role, you’ll also need to be happy to travel to events in other locations across the UK and abroad on occasion (travel to events expensed), which will require flexibility in working hours.

**Additional Information**:
**Our uniqueness is that we truly celebrate yours.**

Experian's culture and people are key differentiators. We take our people agenda very seriously. We focus on what truly matters; DEI, work/life balance, development, authenticity, engagement, collaboration, wellness, reward & recognition, volunteering... the list goes on. We’re an award winning organisation due to our strong people first approach.

Innovation is a critical part of Experian's DNA and practices, and our diverse workforce drives our success. Everyone can succeed at Experian and bring their whole self to work, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, colour, sexuality, physical ability or age. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know at the earliest opportunity.
