Partnership Manager

**Purpose and summary of the role**
The Partnership managers role, based in the City of London, is to make sure that we maximise the effectiveness of our partnerships; ensuring deliver against our brand and corporate objectives. With partnerships that range from Premiership football clubsto cricket to rally car racing, the Partnerships manager will help determine our strategy and develop activation plans that will engage and excite our customers.
Ultimately you will be responsible for managing the relationship with our partners and sponsors. You will thrive on this accountability and be driven to succeed.
**Partnership Manager Responsibilities**:
- Work on some exciting partnerships, including working with Premiership football teams and first class cricket clubs.
- Build engaging activation plans that ensure we get value from partnerships
- Bring the ideas to life working with our partners, in house teams and third party marketing agencies.
- Use customer insight to develop brilliant and compelling campaigns that deliver against objectives and deliver results.
- Work in a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on ensuring we can measure the effectiveness of our work and can learn from the good and the bad.
- Show how you can deliver brilliant work within a regulated sector, by developing exceptional marketing activity that meets our regulatory requirements in our different jurisdictions.
- Be part of helping build marketing's reputation as a centre of excellence
- Manage the relationship between the business and our main marketing sponsors. You will fight hard for our business and values but build relationships and friendships with our partners so giving the business early access to opportunities and new initiativessponsors operate.
- Work with the CMO and Head of Brand to identify new opportunities and relationships which could be commercially developed to provide a return for the business.
- Work closely with our Content Managers to action content plans and get content out and delivered within our media channels..
- Work alongside our agency teams to identify opportunities to create PR opportunities which expose and maximise the partnership we have.
- Work closely with the marketing team to feedback on how campaigns are being received and where these can be adjusted to achieve wider business objectives.
- Work to communicate and inspire our internal team to ensure our own people are excited about sponsorship opportunities and understand the importance of sponsorship in our overall brand strategy
**Successful Partnership Manager requirements**:
- Have a proven track record in a partnership role, and able to demonstrate how you have maximised the opportunity of Partnership.
- Experience of bringing activation plans to life
- Be able to demonstrate outstanding negotiation skills and verbal reasoning
- Be able to hold partners to delivering maximum value and exposure while preserving the relationship
- Be a confident and a tenacious relationship builder who takes responsibility for projects they work on.
- Be accountable for workflow, co-ordinating business areas, partners and suppliers to ensure effectively delivery of campaigns
- Be able to demonstrate brand passion, business acumen, commercial awareness, with the ability to build excellent relationships
- Happy to work in a hybrid role based in the City of London
