**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:
To provide a range of general administrative and data processing duties to support effective service delivery.

To administer processes and procedures using management information system and available ICT packages and maintain accurate electronic learner and course records to meet organisational standards and requirements.

Support the work of other administrative staff to maintain the efficient provision of administrative services.

To assist across operations including but not limited to tutor salaries, finance, such as raising PO’s or processing invoices and assisting with exams with data entry and data checking.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic L3 Business Administration Apprentice to join the operations team within Medway Adult Education Service. This is a great chance to gain the Business Administrator Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 whilst working for Meway Adult Education that provide adult and community learning courses and nationally accredited qualifications in Medway for more than 20 years.

We operate through a bank of qualified, experienced teaching professionals together with several partner organisations.

We offer specialist expertise in certain disciplines which support people to learn new skills for leisure, returning to employment, improving their English and maths and their health and wellbeing.

As part of this role you can expect to undertake the following tasks:

- Data inputting
- Data checking
- Scanning
- Filing
- Updating of systems
- Maintenance of database
- Room bookings
- Using the council finance systems
- Using our MIS to enrol and update learner details

**For Level 3 Apprentices - **The Business Administrator Apprenticeship is a two year programme incorporating real work experience and learning, to gain the knowledge and development of skills and behaviours to successfully complete the programme. This apprenticeship involves approximately 18 months on the job development, followed by an end point assessment consisting of a knowledge test, a presentation on the project completed; and a discussion on the portfolio of learning and development produced during the apprenticeship. A grading of either Pass or Distinction is achievable.
- Ideally you will have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, accurate data entry along with a good attention to detail. However we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed._
