Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) in Newmarket?

We are working with a range of excellent SEN and mainstream schools the Newmarket area and we are currently seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a long-term supply basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support the individual needs of SEN students.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs, ensuring their educational and social development.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Help students with their personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support if required.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and record the progress of students, and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with the wider school community to ensure the holistic development of each student.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A patient and compassionate nature, with the ability to build rapport with students.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the varying needs of students.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
