Special Education Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad, working at a SEN School in Newmarket. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
**Job Description:**
You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, ensuring that each student receives personalized learning experiences tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Regularly monitoring and evaluating the academic and social progress of students with SEN
2. Adapting teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs
**Essential Qualifications and Skills:**
* Experience working or volunteering with SEND children, preferably with autism/ADHD experience
* Commitment to safeguarding children
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
