The Problem Management function is responsible for driving the speedy restoration of IT services experiencing interruption, performance, or stability issues. It is recognised as critical to the success of the business and a key organisational priority.

The Problem Manager will own and drive the vision for the service provided to global banking clients.

The prime task of this role is to prevent incidents from happening as well as minimising the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. Establishing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders, and internal technical teams to create and support theProblem Management Process.

**Responsibilities** will include;
- Reporting on open Problem Records
- Managing, communication, escalation, investigation, and resolution of underlying root cause of any IT service incidents
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders, and internal technical teams to create and support the Problem Management Process
- Ensuring the right resources are available to investigate, identify and resolve the root cause of the Problem and any associated Major Incident Review actions
- Proactive Problem Management based on trend analysis

**Skills**needed;
- Demonstrable experience in a Problem Management role within a large technology team
- Sufficient experience in a similar role which enables you navigate the best path forward from multiple scenarios with confidence and conviction
- Strong technical expertise
- Effective written, verbal and listening skills - balancing detail, precision and brevity
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
- ITIL certification or demonstrable experience with ITIL, Problem Management is a must.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously prioritising tasks, addressing changing priorities and fluctuating workloads plus deadline pressures
- Understanding of cloud-based enterprise architecture

The role is paying up to £60K with benefits, this is hybrid with a couple of days in the office a month
