Company Secretary Coordinator
**Salary**: Up to £40,000 per annum
Location: Manchester (hybrid working)
Morson Talent are delighted to be working with a market leading global Logistics organisation who require a Company Secretary Coordinator to coordinate key stakeholders across the UK and Europe.
Reporting to the Head of Accounts and working closely with the Legal team, you will be required to manage overall legal compliance for the UK and Europe whilst providing support to the Controllership department in connection with legal documentation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports and co-ordinates the local in-country company secretary requirements as directed by the Finance Accounting Manager, UK&I
- Being a primary contact for the stakeholders providing information related to Directories and other corporate secretary admin
- Dealing with the local legal firms, maintains, instructs, controls and organizes the legal framework for all individual companies in the Europe region, mainly appointment and recalls of the company directors, organizing BoD meetings, helping key personwithin the region to understand the requirements, helps with the admin support and coordination of all legal bodies within the region
- Maintains and communicates with the key stakeholders on all matters related to the company secretarial work
- Proactively initiates changes required followed by the company structure, announcement, changes in the mgmt. roles etc
- Make sure all key company documents like Memorandum of Association, business licenses, submission of FS, annual accounts etc are kept up to date, documented and actioned for all open and irregular cases
- Make sure there is a smooth path through all company secretarial work
What we’re looking for
- Legal/Compliance/PA background
- Previous experience working in company secretarial activities
- Experience working with third party providers of company secretarial support, e.g. EY, local firms, etc
**Skills**:
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to suggest improvements, solutions and implement those
- Proactivity, working independently not just based on the instructions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Work under time pressure while still delivering key objectives
- Willingness to support other team members and department initiatives in addition to normal responsibilities
