New Business Lead

**Job purpose**
TravelDesk is a travel focused media partner delivering world class multi-channel campaigns for travel
and tourism companies worldwide. We combine travel and programmatic expertise with proprietary data
to help our travel-sector clients deliver on their business and marketing objectives. We are looking for a
talented New Business Lead to join the TravelDesk team based in London.
The New Business Lead must possess a strong understanding of travel and tourism clients,
have a good grasp of media and programmatic advertising, as well as having excellent presentation and communication skills.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Generate commercial growth for TravelDesk across the UK and EMEA
- Provide strategic input across new business RFPs, RFQs and pitches.
- Develop multichannel, media solutions for travel and tourism clients leveraging TravelDesk
capabilities.
- Advise new clients on programmatic strategy, encouraging multichannel and multi market
activations via TravelDesk.
- Present TravelDesk capabilities to Travel and Tourism clients and Agencies across UK and
EMEA
- Create proactive proposals to support TravelDesk’s strategy of growing external business.
- Build and nurture relationships with MMGY’s account teams, media teams and TravelDesk’s ad
operations and campaign management team.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and advance existing and prospective opportunities.
Role Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as having the ability to build
relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and marketing personnel at all levels.
- Min 3 years working in travel and tourism with strong client facing experience.
- A proven track record in digital media - agency side or vendor side.
- Must be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment where
initiative and innovative thinking are actively encouraged.
- Experience and expertise in programmatic advertising and strategy is preferred.
- Conversant with programmatic advertising technologies and buying structures.
- Confident working with multiple data and supply partners to deliver innovative programmatic
solutions.
- Highly organised and methodical in approach,
- Must be proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
