**Job title**:Lead Project Professional - Submarine Support

**Location**:Barrow-in-Furness or Filton. We’re offering hybrid and flexible working arrangements for the role with a requirement to be on site 2 days per week. Option to work core hours Mon-Thurs with half day on Fridays

**Salary**: £43,000 plus dependent on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Being customer facing in light of building and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Manage all associated Phase 8 and contract closure activities
- Collation of technical and estimate data, creation and collation of bid packs in line with business project lifestyle process inclusive of risk, security and export checks, undertaking phase reviews & multiple project tracking
- Acting as a customer interface for the contract bid work
- Assistance in planning and governance of BW opportunities within the portfolio
- Support both the procurement and Supply Chain processes for associated equipment

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**
- LCM Experience
- Bid Management experience
- Project Delivery experience
- Being able to influence external & internal stakeholders to achieve business success
- Will need to participate in negotiations and influence at all levels
- Highly skilled user of EVM Tools and Techniques

**Desirable requirements**
- Being able to produce, analyse and present project metrics

**The Submarine Support Team**:
This is an exciting time to join our team responsible for supporting the In-Service customer and the emergent demands of the Class vessels In Service.

Due to the nature of the In—Service function, no day is the same and the team will manage delivery contracts either system based or technical advice based, across all Class's within BAEs Submarine sector.
