**Location**: Barrow-in-Furness or Bristol based. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements for this role but there will be the requirement to be on site 2 days a fortnight

**Salary**: Up to £66,700 per annum dependent on experience with car allowance and 12.5% bonus

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Be accountable for the budget, performance and results of the team
- Ensure essential procedures are followed based on own knowledge of Project Management. Within this you would be required to potentially formulate policies and procedures to be followed and/or influence the development of strategies including control of resource and policy formulation
- Adapt and develop own project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- Exercise full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**
- Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices) and basic knowledge of other functions such as Commercial & Finance
- Able to resolve & guide others in solving complex project-related issues, but the normal is to follow established procedures
- Extensive understanding of the Business environment for own project and team
- Recognised** **as an experienced Project Management practitioner

**Desirable**
- Design process and other defence / nuclear experience

**The SSNR Platform Electrical Team**

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for project managing the development of the electrical power system for the next generation of SSN for the Royal Navy. This role will require you to be involved in all aspects of engineering design and delivery both for products within the business and suppliers. This role will provide you with the opportunity to directly influence the production of a product of national significance and help guarantee the future of the business.
