We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Support.
**Role Purpose**:
To provide compliance support to the MNI Trading Department and wider business as required with responsibility for:
Support ongoing MNI compliance with Trading impacted legislative requirements e.g. NI Protocol, Plastic Tax all to include the verification of supplier data, preparation of excel spreadsheets detailing associated financial information, tariff management and tracking, supporting of supplementary declarations to HMRC and liaising with our Import partner.
Additionally, support compliance of wider Trading Projects in the areas of Price, Promotions, Range, Own Brand and Central Billing as required.
**Role Scope**:
- Assist with key compliance support Activities
- Support management of budgets, risks, challenges to ensure effective co-ordination
- Minute taking and diary management of key stakeholders
- Creation and maintaining of Compliance KPI’s and reporting on same
- Maintain compliance documentation and templates
- Supporting the Trading Team in ways of working
Key Activities:
- Undertake specific activities as required by the department, which include but are not exclusive to:
- Data Integrity - liaising with suppliers, checking paperwork, and ensuring databases are accurate and up to date as required
- Supply of internal system reports as required by Trading
- Administration support and input to Trading Basics SOP’s and policies
- Continuously support and adhere to new ways of working to support new business initiatives and system changes
- Work cross-functionally and divisionally as required and to form close working relationships with all Musgrave colleagues including but not exclusively, Category Managers, Trading Services Manager, Trading Managers and Trading Assistants
- Provide Trading Support function with extra assistance on those occasions that the business workload demands
- Investigation and resolution of queries from other internal departments.
- Review ways of working, both individually and as a team.
- Make suggestions for improvement and standardise processes where possible
- Ad Hoc requests by Trading Compliance Manager.
- Other adhoc reporting requests to support both current & new Trading Ways of Working
Essential
- Experience working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy of output
- Experience of using databases and working with high volumes of data
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages -Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include English & Maths at Grade C or above with 2 years' experience working within an administration team or 3 years previous experience in an administrative position
- Excellent communication skills and be confident on the telephone
- Time Management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain cross functional working relationships
- Can do attitude with the ability to embrace change
Desirable
- A-level or 3rd level qualification (business or commercial related)
- Previous administration experience within a trading or retail environment
- Administrator experience within a Compliance Environment
- General Retail, Trading or Compliance Administration experience
