An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high level Event Sales Executive to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction, by negotiating Conference & Events, Wedding and Function business, and co-ordinating the execution of business with other departments. Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate and manage exceptional standards of customer care
- Ensure that all enquires and correspondence for the events team are dealt with efficiently
- Ensure excellent standards of client show rounds and open evenings
- Ensure that all function sheets are produced on time and diaries / systems are updated
- Achieves meetings and events revenue goals by implementing set strategies
- Perform a 'Meet & Greet’ function with meeting & event planners and successfully build relationships with regular & new clients.
- Actively seeks when available, interaction with existing, potential and new clients
- Work actively to minimise complaints from guests.
- Attend meetings and training.
- Checks the meetings and events VIPs and communicates this information to the team
- Identify commissionable bookings and secures required information
- Admin including Pre-blocks all event accommodation, prepare event contracts / chases for signed contracts, ensure payments are arranged, monitor client feedback, maintain databases, pricing reviews, and competitor analysis.
- Manage and deliver quarterly open evenings and 6 monthly Bridal Fayres.
- Represent the department at meetings and feedback key business information to the team.
- Follows all applicable laws, and corporate standards and guidelines

Hours: 37.5 per week (will include occasional weekend and Bank Holiday working as per business needs)

**Salary**: £25k pa + excellent benefits
