The post holder will contribute to achieving the key purpose of the ICB: Improving outcomes in population health and healthcare Tackling inequalities in outcomes experience and access Enhancing productivity and value for money Helping the NHS support broader social and economic development. This role is responsible for leading the transformation and Service Change programme for ICB/strategic transformation and service change programmes. This will include; programme vision and strategy; programme management including planning, reporting, managing risk, and a strong focus on benefits realisation. Produce, interrogate and maintain programme and project plans driving delivery against key milestones in line with the system vision for an integrated care system (ICS).

Produce and develop scheduled transformation and service change reports in a timely and accurate manner whilst managing ad-hoc requests for data from stakeholders and effectively prioritising these. Provide oversight to all strategic programmes and projects to ensure that they are aligned to one another. Proactively monitor the overall progress of the strategic transformation and service change programmes and projects, helping resolve issues and implement corrective action as appropriate, including the development of appropriate contingency plans. Ensure that appropriate involvement activities are planned for transformation and service change programmes.

As Transformation Programme Lead, interpret national and local targets and guidelines to ensure that appropriate programmes are developed and embedded across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System. Advise and support clinical and project/service re-design leads in the progression of projects through the transformation and service change process; To provide expert advice to clinical and programme leads, on option appraisal, patient and public engagement methodologies to support transformation and service change programmes. Identify and highlight to senior forums across the system, interdependencies and associated risks between programmes, including programme or project termination where appropriate, based on the collation, analysis and interpretation of highly complex financial, performance and clinical data. The Transformation Programme Lead will line manage the post of Transformation Manager and other direct reports.
