HR Assistant

Overview:
Join our team as a Human Resources Assistant at Jacobs, where you will play a vital role in supporting our HR department. We are a dynamic company committed to employee growth and development, offering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
**Duties**:
- To support the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies internally and externally
- Liaising with department managers in relation to recruitment, and when required, conducting Stage 1 and Stage 2 interviews
- Coordinating the pre-boarding and on-boarding processes for all new starters
- Maintaining accurate records on People HR
- Support with dealing with day-to-day HR queries
- Assisting with regular internal processes, e.g. probationary reviews, HR reviews, absence
monitoring etc.
- Provide admin support during internal investigation meetings, which may include meeting invites, minute taking, outcomes etc.
- Conducting Exit Interviews or Questionnaires
- Ad-Hoc company event support
- Assisting the HR Manager with any other HR related duties when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s - grades C and above including Maths and English
- Previous administrative experience
- Computer Literate inc. advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Salary & Benefits
- £25,000 basic salary
- 37 hours per Mon - Fri 9am-5.30pm (early dart Fridays)
