As a Head of Strategy you'll be responsible for the following:

- **
Strategy Development**: Conduct and source research to discover insights and devise comprehensive creative strategies from the overarching idea to execution at every touchpoint. Establish clear briefs and understand desired outcomes, ensuring that key strategic insights underpin the entire creative and brand communications strategy.
- **Briefing and Evaluation**: Provide clear briefs to relevant internal teams and evaluate ideas against consumer insights. Oversee campaign delivery to ensure adherence to the original strategy and assess campaign performance against the initial brief.
- **Effectiveness Agenda**: Lead on driving the Effectiveness Agenda within the agency at all levels to ensure effective and measurable campaign outcomes.
- **Resource Management**: Identify and manage internal and external resources to deliver campaigns effectively, ensuring successful client outcomes and growth.
- **Numerical Proficiency**: Demonstrate strong numerical skills and the ability to understand, interpret, and use complex and varied sources of data and statistics.
- **New Business Development**: Focus on tender and pitch wins, with an emphasis on exploring new sectors and territories to expand the agency's client base.
- **People**: Collaborate with Specialist and Commercial Managers to create and deliver integrated campaign strategies. Mentor and upskill relevant staff, fostering a motivated and effective team.
- **Product**: Provide advice on new and existing technologies and trends in the advertising and marketing sector, including the use of AI tools. Deliver strategic consultancy as a standalone service or part of an integrated campaign.

**The Successful Applicant**:
As a Head of Strategy you'll have the following skills:
**Essential**:

- Proven experience as a Strategy Director or similar role in an advertising agency.
- Demonstrated success in delivering campaigns for large brands.
- Experience in tender writing and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work well in a team environment.
- Understanding of market research and analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms.

**Preferred**:

- Extensive experience in working on bilingual (Welsh Language) campaigns.
- Multi-sector experience across a wide portfolio of sectors.
- Familiarity with and use of AI tools and research data from multiple sources.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
