**Job Role**

This is a full-time role, working as part of a team responsible for the operation of an effective and efficient responsive maintenance and void property service.

You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Soha’s properties, carrying out inspections in empty and tenanted properties and organising any work required. You will also provide technical advice to colleagues and deal with tenant enquiries and complaints.

**Key Duties**
- Be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Soha’s tenant and vacant properties. Working in accordance with Soha’s maintenance policies and procedures and in accordance with existing maintenance contracts.
- Organise and supervise contractors work to ensure jobs are completed on time, to the required standard and within budget
- Deal with repair enquiries and complaints from customers, keeping them informed at all times on progress.
- Prepare detailed specifications where necessary and tender repair work if required.
- Provide technical support and advice to other departments.

**What you will need;**
- ONC or equivalent in building surveying or similar
- A sound technical knowledge of building construction
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work accurately and flexibly
- Commitment to delivering focussed customer service and an enthusiastic and positive approach
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work flexibly, occasional out of normal office hours
- Full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £42,301.00 per year
