To ensure the efficient day to day co-ordination and delivery of the Engage programme at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) and the continued development and expansion of the Engage programme.

Provide support to volunteers attending shifts at the hospital
- Manage enquiries from volunteers, staff and the general public regarding Engage
- Maintain the Patient Referral list to ensure volunteer updates/feedback are communicated and responded to
- Organise volunteer teaching and supervision sessions
- Provide volunteers with updates on news updates/teaching sessions/supervision
- Maintaining the volunteer register; keeping track of active/inactive volunteers, holidays etc.
- Recruitment of volunteers - on-going; including interviews and inductions
- Maintain continued communication and relationships with all wards served by Engage, Head of Department, Voluntary Services
- Development of Engage Programme: expanding service where possible
- Research development & data/evidenced gathering /report writing ensuring Engage can be evaluated regarding success/sustainability of programme can be measured.
- Maintaining a good, working relationship with the Stars Appeal Charity regarding Engage / promotional opportunities and events.
- Research & provision of any useful resources (IT and otherwise) for Volunteer daily activities
