**We are looking for a new Donor Engagement Officer to join our team at the University of Salford.**

The primary objective of the Donor Engagement Officer is to build long-lasting, positive, and rewarding relationships with our brilliant network of donors; including alumni, high net worth individuals, corporations, and charitable trusts & foundations. You will play a central role in our team to ensure that our donors feel connected to the University, receive regular reporting and updates, see the real impact of their generous gift, and are compelled to give again due to the high quality of their experience.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building personable and strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. We need you to be passionate about impact, and be a compelling storyteller, with a great eye for detail and deadlines.

**A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations**

The role sits within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations; the ‘front door’ of the University. We provide a range of activities that engage with our external stakeholders including students, businesses, and our local community.

Within the Alumni Engagement & Development Team specifically, we are dedicated to retaining a life-long relationship with our graduates. We identify and unlock sources of philanthropic funding across our alumni, charitable trusts & foundations and corporate partners for the benefit of our students, campus and communities.
