Third Party Intervention Motor Claims Handler

**About the role**:
It's an exciting time to join the Motor Claims team here at AXA, as a Third Party Intervention Claims Handler. As a Third Party Intervention Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for shaping and driving Third Party Intervention Claims to help build capability within the department and improve quality and service delivery to our customers.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at our Bolton office.
**What you'll be doing**:
- You'll be responsible for a portfolio of Motor Claims from start to finish, investigating and gathering evidence to help bring each claim to the point of a conclusion.
- Proactively review Third Party referrals from the first notification of loss.
- Ensuring cost of hire and cost of repairs provided to Third Parties are managed effectively.
- This is a varied and interesting role, you'll understand that some claims are a result of a distressing or simply unfortunate incident, and therefore it's important you listen and act with empathy.
- You'll recognise the signs of a fraudulent claim and refer these for further investigation when needed.

- Proven Motor Claims knowledge is essential. This can be in either Commercial or Retail Motor Claims.
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills, influencing and negotiating and relationship management.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
