**Agricultural Area Sales Manager - Territory: North East England**

**Do you have a passion for agriculture?**

About the role:
You will be responsible for developing the sales of company products which are sold directly to farmers within your designated territory.

This will be achieved by adopting the company’s philosophy of achieving sales based upon building long term relationships with customers.

A consultative mindset is essential to ensure you develop sales based upon customer needs, best practice, credible advice and excellent product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Building a medium term sales strategy for the defined area.
- Having accountability for the commercial relationships with clients within the defined area
- Segmenting and targeting customers and prospects
- Attending trade fairs and securing new business

About you:

- Strong 'Solution based’ selling skills, attributing value to customer benefits.
- Good commercial negotiator, with experience in an agricultural / B2C sales role.
- Ability to foster influential relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to sell concepts in a compelling way.
- We would consider a graduate or junior sales person with an interest in agriculture and dairy/beef farming
