About the Role

This is a pivotal role that directly contributes to the success of CCHAs income maximisation, whilst offering financial support to our tenants who are experiencing difficulties. This is a great career opportunity for someone who wants to live our values, making a difference to our tenants, their families, and our community.
You will be responsible for the management of a patch of tenancies, reviewing rent accounts and taking all appropriate actions to promote a positive payment culture and prevent arrears. You will support tenants who are in financial difficulties by ensuring they are in receipt of the correct benefits, signposting for more advanced debt advice where required and will source external grants to clear or reduce arrears to prevent legal action and the possibility of homelessness.
You will be confident to conduct home visits, attending court and eviction hearings and able to keep calm under pressure when having difficult conversations.
The role is permanent, working 35 hours per week.

About You

We have a strong desire to support our tenants to make their rental payments and prevent homelessness where possible, we are looking for a confident, self-motivated and target driven individual, with demonstratable experience, who shares this passion and wants to make a difference
