**Job Summary**:
The post holder will provide support to the Business and Operations Manager for specific projects within Leeds GP Confederation. They will be expected to work autonomously on specific elements of projects, with opportunity to attend project meetings, where appropriate in the absence of the Business and Operations Manager.

**Purpose of the job**:
Ø To support, facilitate and monitor the progress of a project or service improvement

Ø Management of project action logs and Gantt charts

Ø Triage project related queries and escalate appropriately

Ø To contribute to ongoing development and continuous improvement of project capabilities

Ø To support with the delivery of projects across the organisation

Ø To provide monitoring and reporting of progress, risks, and issues for a range of projects

**Main duties of the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team delivering a range of primary care services for the population of Leeds. As an integral member of the team, you will be working with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions that improve the projects that Leeds GP Confederation delivers.

The post-holder will support the management of a portfolio of projects and proactively support colleagues to ensure that project delivery is consistently high-quality and solution focused. They will support with project planning and the delivery of projects to time, quality and budget; working with internal and external stakeholders to confirm scope, budget and deliverables. They will ensure that the delivered solution(s) meet the original project definition and are handed over to successfully

Ø Support with the operational delivery of projects; to ensure contractual and regulatory assurance and compliance.

Ø Engage with different departments e.g. finance & data quality team to ensure best outcomes

Ø Participate and contribute to various project meetings and complete actions within planned time.

Ø Oversee projects, mitigating risks and resolving issues.

Ø Continuous development of IT and digital communication skills.

Ø Quality assurance, for example through collating data, auditing or compliance checks.

Ø Schedule meetings and set agendas as needed.

Ø Update project records and action logs and ensure actions are completed by the relevant people.

Ø Contribute to the development & optimisation of project documentation.

Ø Provide flexible, hands-on delivery support and assisting with effective communication between projects and the business.

Ø Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including commissioners.

**Overview of Organisation**:
Leeds GP Confederation acts as a single, unified voice for general practice across Leeds. We do this by firstly gathering and representing local general practice views. Secondly, we provide a range of ways for practices and PCNs to contribute to priorities in the Leeds place-based partnership arrangements.

We provide expert resource for individual practices in the city to remain viable and resilient, as well as supporting the collective development of primary care networks. Our data, tools, facilitation, and guidance all help to maximise impact across the city.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Demonstrable understanding of the project life cycle, including planning, milestones, actions, risk management and project delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and different functions within the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of planning and prioritising effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure and execute tasks to a high standard, whilst supporting peers.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivating with good time management skills.
- Experience and awareness of working with and respecting confidential material.
