- The Pensions Administrator is a member of the Pensions Administration Team who are responsible for the calculation and administration of ‘cradle to grave’ benefits for members of defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
**About the role**- Automated and manual calculation of ‘cradle to grave’ benefits for members of defined benefit and defined contribution schemes administered-
- Review daily post and allocating cases accordingly-
- Checking and approval of cases calculated by other members of the Pensions Administration department-
- Dealing with telephone queries raised by different categories of scheme members, clients, financial advisers and other interested parties-
- Update and maintain Intellipen database and other internal databases-
- Checking pension payrolls each month-
- Annual checking of Benefit Statements for all schemes-
- Supporting and training of less experienced administrators**About you**- At least 2+ years working as a Pensions Administrator or similar role-
- A working knowledge of both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes-
- Professional, approachable and discreet- Training provided in all key areas through a combination of internal, external and web-based learning.
