Rate : 11.53 p/h
Hours : 18.75 p/h
Monday - Friday
9.00am-12.45pm

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Type reports, memos, letters, forms etc to a high standard, as required, from manuscript, audio and notes using a word processing system or through digital dictation.
- Use IT skills as applicable to produce reports, lecture text, presentations, research documents, audits etc. for work being undertaken by the service (e.g. PowerPoint, spread sheets); set up and maintain databases.
- Open, sort and distribute all mail to the team.
- Routine filing and maintaining an efficient filing system.
- Telephone duties - dealing with departmental queries which will include taking and passing on clear and concise messages and obtaining and passing on information.

1. 1. HNC/HND or equivalent/higher qualification in an administrative field AND 1 years’ experience in clerical/administrative role.
OR
4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or higher, including English AND
2 years’ experience in a clerical/administrative role.
OR
3 years’ experience in a clerical/administrative role

2. 2. OCR/RSA/GCSE Stage 3 Word-processing/Typing (parts 1 & 2) or equivalent qualification
OR
An equivalent standard of word processing skills gained through a minimum of 1 years’ word-processing experience.

3. Experience of Microsoft office packages to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel

4. Experience of minute taking and organising/servicing meetings preferable
