**Mondays 15:30 - 18:00**

**Wednesdays 15:30 - 18:00**

**Saturdays 10:45 - 13:00**

**1. Purpose of the job**

1.1 We are looking for a passionate Office Coordinator, with great attention detail for the Isle of Dogs Riverside Kumon Centre branch. To facilitate and support both centre managers in all aspects of delivering the Kumon Maths and English learning programmes within a Kumon Centre.

**2. Line management**

2.1 There is no line management responsibility within this role.

**3. Duties & Responsibilities**

**Classroom**:
3.1 To assist in setting up and clearing down the classroom in a timely manner to ensure the environment is ready for activity before the first student arrives_. _
- This will include and is not limited to ensuring all tables, chairs and relevant is equipment is out for use and put away at the end of each session. _

3.2 To replenish equipment as and when needed.

**Reception**:
3.3 Provide a professional, welcoming atmosphere for parent/carer and students throughout their visit at the Centre.

3.4 To liaise and maintain positive working relationships with parent/carers of students as and when required. This will include answering questions, managing queries as and when they arise. To escalate and pass on messages to the Centre Manager appropriately.

3.5 Ensure front of hour is set up in a presentable manner before the first student arrives.
- This will include and is not limited to ensuring all relevant equipment is out for use._

3.6 Ensure all student folders and worksheets are out and organised ready to be given to students promptly on arrival.

3.7 Issue and collect homework from Students on arrival.

**Student Worksheets**:
3.8 To prepare student work as instructed by Centre Manager within the timelines set.

3.9 To accurately mark homework and record student’s work and complete reporting methods.

3.10 To accurately log incomplete work and file away according to centre procedure.

**Administration**:
3.11 To complete onbaording process for all new staff as requested by the centre manager.

3.12 To devise the staff rota on a weekly basis and notify staff of their shifts.

3.13 To manage staff queries and escalate to centre manager where appropriate.

3.14 To log staff shifts on a weekly basis.

3.15 To calculate staff wage and provide reports to centre manager on a monthly basis.

3.16 To liaise with centre managers and support them with the onbaording process for new Kumon students.
- This will include and not limited to ensuring parent/carers complete relevant paperwork and support in direct debit set up. _

3.17 To send reminders and collect payment from parent/carers that do not have direct debits set up. This will include logging payments and issuing of receipts once payments have been made. Where needed to escalate concerns with Centre manager.

3.18 To complete monthly B-Report on the KSIS Platform.

3.19 To work with, abide to and positively promote all KEA policies and/or procedures including but not limited to, health and safety matters.

3.20 To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working times for which overtime would be awarded.

3.21 To carry out all reasonable duties as and when requested by your line manager or any other senior management member.

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
