Pace and accuracy are key, so you’ll have an eye for attention to detail, and enjoy making progress. National Procurement have a direct impact on Aldi’s ways of working, and you’ll see your efforts realised in cost savings, process improvements and operational enhancements business-wide.

An opportunity has arisen to join the National Procurement team as PA to the National Procurement Director. This isn’t your standard PA role, though; you’ll be integral to supporting the entire function during the end-to-end procurement process, delivering cost savings to the business, and helping us keep our prices at the lowest in the market for the customer.

**Your New Role**
- Organisational and administrative support to the National Procurement Director and wider team
- Extensive proactive diary management and deadline tracking
- Arranging travel, including flights, trains, hotels, parking, itineraries etc.
- Supporting the Director with external stakeholders, Senior Management and visitors, as well as preparing for visits
- Checking, consolidating and communicating information for the National Procurement department for issue to the wider business
- Planning and coordinating meetings, including booking meeting rooms, building agendas, ensuring they run smoothly and being responsible for minutes
- Preparing and issuing memos to the wider business
- Collating and cascading key departmental information and updates in a business-wide monthly bulletin
- Uploading, updating and tracking departmental documentation on Sharepoint
- Ensuring the department’s information is filed correctly and in keeping with the agreed structure
- Contract recommendations
- Proof-reading, submission and redistribution when approved by senior leadership
- National and International savings tracking on a weekly basis
- Collation of information (Requests for Information - RFIs) and submission to International Procurement
- Receipt reconciliation, and invoice checking, processing, tracking and checking adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as monthly financial submissions and accruals
- Implementation of new systems and processes to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Recruitment and onboarding support
- Driving departmental tasks to ensure they are completed to a high standard and on time

**About You**
- Substantial experience within a PA role
- Experience of working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- 3x A-Levels or equivalent
- Proven ability of working on own initiative and within a wider team
- A positive, proactive, willing and can-do attitude, demonstrating confidence
- Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
- High attention to detail
- Top class personal organisation and time management
- The ability to balance multiple priorities and manage a heavy workload effectively, remaining calm under pressure
- Discretion and the ability to handle highly confidential information
- Proficient use of MS Office suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Project management experience would be advantageous

**What You’ll get in Return**
- Salary starting £36,080 rising to £42,135
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
