Source Group are looking for a dynamic individual to support the Reception team, as a Receptionist you will be required to liaise effectively with colleagues and other departments within the hospital in a professional and pleasant manner and to ensure the confidentiality of information and patient details is adhered to at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Admit, transfer and discharge patients using various computer systems.
- Answering telephone, taking messages and passing to appropriate personnel.
- Use computers for data input and retrieval as appropriate, including scanning and uploading on to the electronic patient record all client related documents.
- To provide a friendly, effective reception, advice and information service to patients, colleagues and visitors to the ward.
- Support and assist the other receptionists / nursing staff in the day to day management of the ward and contribute to the care environment and carry out general administrative duties.
- To maintain electronic patient records

**Requirements**:

- Must have worked within a role that involves speaking with patients.
- Excellent Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication / telephone skills
- Reliable
- NHS experience

This is a 6-month initial contract onsite at an NHS organisation in Northampton

Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday. Normal shift pattern is: 9am
- 5pm with 30 min unpaid break.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: One location
