Office Administrator

Join our team as an Office Administrator at Imperial, one of the largest kitchenware suppliers in the UK home to Scoville and Eaziglide. We are rapidly expanding our team and are in search of a dedicated individual to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office operations.
**Office Administration**:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, managing supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive register of monthly departmental purchases for easy expense reporting to Accounts.
**Team Support**:
- Provide administrative support across various departments, addressing office-related inquiries and requests.
- Maintain a cleaner register, liaise with Calligo for IT issues, and address printer-related concerns.
**Contractor Management**:
- Manage third-party contractors, organising quotations and procurement processes.
**Security and Health & Safety**:
- Ensure office security through access monitoring, implementation of security protocols, and coordination of emergency procedures and drills.
**Communications**:
- Maintain efficient internal communication systems, distribute memos, and update office policies as required.
**Mail and Package Handling**:
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment.
**Meeting Coordination**:
- Manage showroom bookings and implement efficient processes.
- Oversee screens and other meeting-related logistics.
**Building Maintenance**:
- Organise general building maintenance to uphold a clean and functional office environment.
**Director Support**:
- Assist directors with ad-hoc requests to ensure smooth operations.
**Catering and Event Management**:
- Organise catering for meetings and events.
- Coordinate company events, including the annual Christmas party, evening activities, and trade shows.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience in office administration or management.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic HR practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
**Education and Experience**:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an office environment.
**Salary**: £22,700.00-£28,500.00 per year
