A fantastic Specialist School in Witney, West Oxfordshire is looking for a Mental Health Support Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The pupils in this school range from 5 to 18 and have a range of difficulties,including anxiety, OCD, trauma, developmental delay and behavioural issues. The students therefore needs a Mental Health Support Assistant who is understanding, patient, passionate about mental health and up for a challenge

The school has small class sizes to allow for greater 1:1 time with the pupils and staff for them to build stronger relationships. The school focuses on positive reinforcement and making sure the classroom is a safe and secure place. As a Mental Health SupportAssistant, your daily duties will involve supporting the students throughout the day, both with their academic progress as well as their social and emotional development. This is a place where no two days are the same.
