We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to be responsible for the effective operational management of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme for all school staff and managing networking and development initiatives between schools and services across the Department for Education and Children's Services.

The postholder will also support with the financial management of grant funded initiatives linked to the CPD programme.
The successful applicant will therefore have excellent organisational and administration skills together with effective ICT, financial and communication skills.

This is a key front-line post and is crucial in ensuring that central education services and schools are supported with all aspects of staff development opportunities.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
