Join our team as a part-time Facilities Support Assistant

We are seeking an individual to fill the position of General Maintenance Facilities Support Assistant (FSA) working within our five University Nursery sites.

Flexible working hours: 2.5 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) or five mornings per week (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

**About the Role**:
In this role, you will play a vital part in the general maintenance and upkeep of the nursery buildings. Collaborating closely with the Nursery Managers, you will be responsible for providing minor local repairs, reporting building faults, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the children. Your tasks will encompass a wide range of maintenance activities, requiring a versatile skill set in DIY projects. You will not be expected to carry out any electrical or plumbing maintenance.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Your role will involve setting priorities, planning your work effectively, and meeting the dynamic demands of busy nursery environments. Additionally, you will perform routine tasks such as daily safety checks and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. When necessary, you will also collaborate with contractors on-site.
